Areas of Expertise
Clinical Work: Psychotherapeutic Counselling
Consulting Work: Design and Delivery of Training Programmes, Facilitation of Workshops and Talks at Corporations and Schools.
I hold MSc level degrees in Health Psychology, Social and Organisational Psychology as well as Applied Psychology. I previously worked for the Health Behaviour Research Centre at University College London and hold several scientific publications in my name. My passion for understanding the human psyche has lead me to take on further training in areas such as Neurolinguistic Programming, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as well as Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I believe that one can never learn enough about what makes us human and apply this approach to the tools I use in private practice. As such, I am able to offer a bespoke client-centred approach that suits the individual. I work with adults and adolescents (ages 13-19).
I consult on School Wellbeing Strategies as well as on the creation and implementation of bespoke wellbeing Curricula to enhance psychological resilience and performance amongst pupils and staff. My approach is focused on empowering individuals to use evidence based tools to manage periods of adversity in order to reduce the risk of more serious mental health issues in the future. I give talks and hold training workshops in any area to do with psychological resilience and performance management.
Information about Therapy
The relationship you will have with your therapist is the most important thing when it comes to working through troubles successfully. Whether you are currently looking for yourself or your child - getting a 'feel' for whether I am the right therapist for you/them without worrying about the expense is crucial- therefore I offer a free phone/video consultation to enable us to get to know each other. I am warm, caring and non-judgmental- I care deeply for my clients. Clients bring a vast range of challenges and benefit a lot from making sense of their troubles and putting in place practical tools.
The free video consultation lasts 25 minutes.
Each subsequent session lasts 50 minutes and costs £75/session. You can book in for a stand alone single session therapy (SST) or a block of sessions which will be agreed on after the initial consultation session.
Mode of Therapy: During the current Covid-19 Pendemic I see my clients remotely. Usually I practice face-to-face out of my rooms in RG7.
